All things are not equal, especially when it comes to picking the right Upscaler setting.
If you are looking to also reduce the time you spend in an editor, consider picking a upscaler which might do some of the prep work for you. Digital tools should work for you, not you working for it. Below is an example of to different Upacaler used to render the same image. Blending colors and shades of color can be tricky, here you can see how one upscaler blends better than the other. It is not to say that one might like the layer look, but if you are aiming for a more smooth gradiant, then perhaps another Upacaler can do the job, so experiment and make note of which work better for your tastes.
